21ST CENTURY TEACHER’S TRANSVERSAL COMPETENCIES: THEORETICAL ANALYSIS

In the current situation, a significant part of existing models training specialists in field education no longer meet conditions labour market. The most important pedagogical skills present time are significantly different from that were relevant until recently. Knowledge is still important, but modern teachers also need to have transversal competencies succeed their professional activities. So, research aim study content phenomenon “transversal competences”, which will make process forming more effective. To achieve scientific literature and practice was analysed. It found out competences transferable reusable can be applied wide variety situations work settings. Transversal considered as 21st century correlate mostly with human ability solve problems, related technological advances intercultural communication.The analysis sources revealed inconsistency use terms denoting studied concept considerable diversity defining competencies, distinguish sets skills. Based on framework worked by UNESCO teacher’s characterized six domains: 1) critical innovative thinking, 2) interpersonal skills, 3) intrapersonal 4) global citizenship, 5) media information literacy, 6) others.
